It wasn't just Game of Thrones breaking the internet yesterday. A new study was revealed, suggesting that the above headline was very much true - naturally igniting a beard grooming/hygiene debate.
18 men aged between 18-76 were tested and revealed to all show high microbial counts (bacteria) in their facial hair. Professor Andreas Gutzeit, from Hirslanden Clinic, Switzerland confirmed that these findings show "dogs can be considered as clean compared with bearded men.”
